A COASTAL CEREMONY & BEACON HILL EVENING

There are wedding days that feel like a sequence of moments—and then there are days like Annie and Johnny’s, where every transition feels intentional, cinematic, and deeply personal. From a quiet first look with family in the city to a windswept ceremony by the ocean, and finally an intimate candlelit dinner tucked into 1928 Beacon Hill—their day moved like a story unfolding in chapters.

A QUIET BEGINNING IN THE CITY

The day began at the elegant Hilton Boston Park Plaza, where Annie shared a private first look with her father, Peter. It wasn’t about elaborate getting-ready coverage—it was about presence. A pause before everything began.

SEASIDE VOWS AT BEAUPORT

Their ceremony took place at the iconic Beauport, the Sleeper-McCann House—a historic oceanfront estate filled with character, color, and layered textures.

With the Atlantic as their backdrop, Annie and Johnny exchanged vows officiated by Johnny’s best friend, Michael. There was no formal wedding party—just closeness, simplicity, and people who truly mattered.

Their most anticipated moment—the first kiss—felt effortless, framed by sea air and soft light. And just as they had planned, they took a second pause near the end of the aisle for one more kiss and dip—something playful, personal, and entirely theirs.

Family portraits followed along the water, keeping things natural and unforced. No long lists, no over-structuring—just a few meaningful combinations and space to breathe.

A CITY INTERLUDE: ACORN STREET

While guests made their way back to Boston, Annie and Johnny carved out time for something different—portraits in the heart of Beacon Hill.

Acorn Street offered the perfect contrast to the coast: cobblestone texture, historic charm, and a quiet, almost cinematic stillness.

As the light softened into early evening, the two of them moved through the street effortlessly—less like a photoshoot, more like a scene from a film. This part of the day felt editorial, intimate, and slightly removed from the timeline—exactly where some of the most beautiful images tend to happen.

AN INTIMATE DINNER IN BEACON HILL

The evening transitioned into a warm, candlelit reception at 1928 Beacon Hill.

Annie changed into a second look, the energy softened, and the celebration became more intimate. Their entrance led directly into their first dance—no long pauses, no overproduction—just a natural continuation of the day.

Dinner unfolded slowly, punctuated by moments rather than structure. Cake cutting, conversation, and movement between tables—it felt less like a formal reception and more like an evening shared with people they love.
