SHINING TIDES — MATTAPOISETT, MA

ABOUT THE DAY

Cassie and James celebrated their summer wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill surrounded by the rolling countryside of Groton, Massachusetts.

The day began at The Groton Inn where Cassie got ready with her bridesmaids before sharing a special first look with her father. Meanwhile, James spent the afternoon with his groomsmen at the venue as guests began arriving for the ceremony.

At five o’clock, family and friends gathered for the outdoor ceremony overlooking the fields. Afterward, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while the couple took portraits around the property and gathered with family on the lawn for formal photos.

The evening continued inside the barn with their first dance, heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, and parent dances before the dance floor opened for a joyful summer celebration.
