Abisola & Tomi Wedding Film | Nigerian Wedding in Massachusetts

When we first spoke, I had just returned from Africa. I remember asking more questions about the outfits than the wedding timeline.

By the time the wedding day arrived, I couldn't stop looking around the room.

Every gele was tied differently.

Every fabric caught the light differently.

Every family seemed to carry its own colors. As filmmakers, we're trained to follow the couple.

That day, I kept finding myself filming the guests too. Not because they were stealing attention—but because they were part of the story.

The music, the dancing, the money spray, the laughter, the prayers, and the generations of family all made this celebration feel larger than two people getting married. It felt like an entire community showing up for them.

This is Abisola and Tomi.

A wedding that reminded us that sometimes the people surrounding the couple become just as unforgettable as the couple themselves.

Filmed by Summer St Films. Boston wedding films documenting people, culture, and stories across New England.
