First time shooting a traditional African engagement session.

Didn‘t know much going in. Just knew the fabrics were handwoven, the headwear had meaning, and they’d spent a long time thinking about every detail.

I keep thinking about what it takes to walk through that door — not the paperwork, not the logistics, but the years of deciding you deserve to.
